Plumbing service for Los Alamitos and central OC
Los Alamitos is a small city in western OC, adjacent to Stanton's western border and one of our closest and most frequently served communities. Like Cypress and Stanton, Los Alamitos is served by Golden State Water Company's West Orange County system, delivering the same moderately hard water (200 to 300 ppm, from the OC groundwater basin and MWD imports) that affects Stanton homes. The plumbing infrastructure in Los Alamitos follows an almost identical pattern to Stanton: 1960s-70s slab foundation single-family homes with copper supply, aging water heaters dealing with sediment from the hard water supply, and faucet and fixture wear accelerated by the same mineral deposits.
Los Alamitos developed primarily in the 1960s and 1970s as a planned residential community. Its compact size (approximately 4.5 square miles) means the entire city falls within a short dispatch from our Stanton base, making it one of our fastest-response service areas. The city's population is predominantly homeowner-occupied compared to Stanton's renter-heavy profile, which shifts the service call mix somewhat toward scheduled maintenance and property-sale-related plumbing assessments rather than habitability emergency calls.
